Orin Wilf's Skyline Developers has closed on the old Astoria Theater at 28-60 Steinway Street in Queens for $22.5 million. The 1920 theater, designed by famous theater architect Thomas W. Lamb, was called the United Artists Astoria Sixplex when it closed in 2002. It houses a New York Sports Club, Duane Reade and a branch of Washington Mutual Bank. Wilf owns 37 Wall Street, where a Tiffany & Co. store opened today.
